The Windmill

The Windmill, Ewshot is an old fashioned village public house with traditional values, a warm welcome, good food and good beer. Whether you come for a drink or stay for a meal, the welcome is the same The flint and brick building dates from the 18th century and in 1835 the house, orchard and barns were bought by a brewer and the building was known as ‘The Windmill Brew Shop’.  In 1863 the outbuildings were rebuilt in flint and brick in the local style. Today you can relax in our spacious 2 acre garden with its fantastic views or play a round on our 18 hole putting green or in the winter enjoy our warm atmosphere and log fire and traditional pub games such as darts, cards and cribbage. Our passion is our ales and our home cooked food served on weekend lunchtimes only at present using only locally sourced produce. We have two real ales, currently Timothy Taylor’s Landlord and Dark Star Doombar on tap with more on the way, plus a selections of lagers, ciders and stout. Dogs (on leads) are welcome in the garden and bar area
